PP: ConCover 180 used for asbestos remediation
The Army turns to NWC's integrated product system as a temporary protective cover over asbestos during Hurricane Floyd. Over 12-inches of rain fell, submerging 3:1 asbestos contaminated slopes below 22-foot floodwaters for three days. The use of ConCover 180 with SuperSeal 40 and a coating of HydraGuard 42 provided routine stockpile covering, slope stabilization and prevented release of asbestos into the Passaic River resulting in zero slope failures during Hurricane Floyd in 2001.
